I recently had a water leak coming from the EGR cooler case there was a small crack in it, I purchased a 2nd hand one
and fitted it now after 2 months it has failed again in the same place as before the EGR casing the crack is in the same place has the old one,!!
could this be a faulty thermostat ?? my thinking is if the thermostat is stuck then the water cannot flow and the pressure build up would possibly crack the plastic EGR cover.
Has anyone got ant ideas or had the same problem ??
