Dazandtrace
Just used a 3m headlight restoration kit and it's brilliant. Only took an hour to do both lights.

0 Dazandtrace
You can buy the kits from eBay. Or from the 3m website. There ate a couple of kits a hand kit or one you use in a drill. I used the drill one.

0 terryd999
The 3m kit works excellent, got mine from amazon, have recommended to anyone with same problem, also sorted deep gouge in new showertray!

0 bignev
Well as they say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, so I have copied you and am very pleased with the result on my headlight!!!There are still some flaws in it, but not on the lens now.Only really shows up if you stand to the side and look for it.Would also highly recomend, as you and another user has, the (very cheap) HID low beam conversion kit - chuffing brilliant - £12.99 ebay - thought it would be rubbish but took a gamble as I was going to replace all the bulbs for the "xenon" white ones while I had the headlights out.Hope it lasts! 0 Dazandtrace
Don't you think it's a very strange feeling sanding your headlights as once started there's no going back. But results are well worth it,plus it saves a fortune on either new or second hand units
0 bignev
Oh yes it's no return once that sanding disc hits the lens!I did it early, before a drive we will be having up to the Scottish borders, so if it went tits up I had plenty of time to get hold of a second hand one.Well worth the effort. The instructions say to mask off the area around them to avoid damage, but I notice you did what I did - take them off as it's only 3 bolts, much safer. 0 Dazandtrace
Yes easy to remove and do it that way. Plus I think you have more control over doing them aswell
