Suspension Mount

Hi all I had the offside top suspension mount giveaway yesterday. Blimey does it knock when driving. Anyway got to work today only to find shock absorber wasn't attached at top lol. Oops. Anyway £38 and 2hrs later all fixed. But was not easy as spring was on full expand.so anyone thinking of doing there's good luck.trying to compress spring while on care so it could be removed. More luck than anything else. I'll try and download a few pics

Thanks for posting, this is something that needs doing on mine sooner rather than later.

Did you get any symptoms before it went? Knocking noise, clunk when steering?

 

(I'm getting a clunk when I steer beyond a certain point, which I suspect is it sticking and twisting on the spring rather than the joint)

Hi I had no symptoms. I was just driving and all of a sudden got a horrible squeak then it's started knocking really bad.
