lirchpin Posted July 27, 2015 Report Share Posted July 27, 2015 Hi i have just purchased a 2006 2.8 crd limited but if it revs to 3000 rpm it cuts out. if i drop into neutral it starts straight away. it normaly only happenes when pressing resume on cruse control but also when over reving in low gears. any idea's please. soupstone Posted April 13, 2017 Report Share Posted April 13, 2017 What symptoms are you having Dizzy?On both my voyagers, I've had cutting out problems when accelerating. They would cut out under acceleration, and I had to come to a halt and restart.Both times, it was fuel filter issues. In my case, it was a slightly loose housing (on a 2002 2.5, the filter bowl next to the fuel tank) and more recently in a 2006, a renewed fuel filter wasn't tight enough. this filter was at the front of the engine under the bonnet.
