Just moved from a Ahemm renault grand espace to a second hand 08 CGV and very impressed with the space inside and amount of kit. Its a nice place to be and already had all the seats flat to lug a whole load of furniture - fed up with the weightlifting challenge of removing the renault seats! BUT, we have only owned the car a couple of weeks and already got a drivability issue.....car seems to go into limp mode around town driving. It will not rev and will only pull upto 30mph. Pull over turn off allow to reset and all ok till the next time. Any ideas? Local mechanic has scanned the log and it suggests EGR valve or MAF. Removed the EGR isn;t gummed up and not too much soot and thought I'd check out thoughts on the forum before replacing the MAF. Its fine on the cruise control and no engine management light, its just around town..
