Dash warning chimes

Hi all, can anyone help as to why I don’t have any warning chimes? Nothing when key left in and door open, nothing when lights left on?

is this programmed into the cars CPU or is there something I can look for?

Sorry but the manual states ;

OPERATION
Refer to the proper Body Diagnostic Procedures manual for complete chime/buzzer operation and conditions for operation.

Don't even know what this manual is, the only other reference is to use the impossible to find and bank balance draining DRB 111 scan tool.

Hopefully it's just the buzzer / chime itself that has gone up the duff, assume its buried in the dash but I honestly don't know... Anyone out there with any ideas ?

As long as it starts and runs, keep yer fingers crossed and just use it till it breaks .

The lack of warning chimes is likely to be the least of your worries .

Mine is also odd.

Whenever I open the door to get in it says:

'You will regret buying this car. Wait until you see how soon the battery will go flat''

Then when getting out it says:

"Phew, we made it. THIS time!".
