Speedo And Gear Change Issue

Hi Guys

 

New to this forum but i hope someone can help me.

 

We have an 08 plate Grand Voyager and its playing up to the point i feel like scrapping it when we select drive and start moving away the cars speedo drops to zero and wont change gear this has been happening on and off for couple months.

 

I have researched several sites people say gearbox ECU issue and others say Earth strap on Gearbox has anyone had this issue that can help me.

it could be loose connection from gearbox to ecu the wire that goes into ecu from gearbox

i have v6 petrol where i have loose wire /broken wire from exhaust sensor to ecu

on gearbox should be block connector maybe one of wires inthere could be broke 

it also might have moisture inside connector

Thanks for the advice i got it on ramps today and found the following

 

Output speed sensor & connector Damaged so for a quick fix cleaned it up pushed in the connector and taped up stop it moving 

worked a dream not lost speedo and changes gear with no worries (touching wood)

 

just got to find parts needed does anyone have ideas for best place for chrysler parts
