stuartmunn
My Delta steering is at an angle... its bloody annoying ... Im not OCD but .... Anyway I asked Arnold Clark to fix this when they did my service ... but they forgot and I cant be ****sed taking it back to them. Has anyone taken of a steering wheel... I'm assuming I'd have to disable to airbag somehow ... any advice welcome ! I'd probably better get hold of a torque wrench for this sort of work! 0 Rossocorsa
don't do it that way you need to get the tracking done (by some one good enough to get the wheel straight) and then make sure that you disconnect the battery and allow the electric steering to relearn the centre position (at least i think that's how you do it reconnect battery then turn full lock in both directions) otherwise it'll try to pull to one side all the time. 0 stilos
Hi, Do not remove the steering wheel, because it won't solve the problem. The steering wheel can be installed to the shaft just one position.I think front wheel adjustment (angle of the wheels) better solution. 0 stuartmunn
All fixed ... I'd had my tracking done already when I got new tyres... but they obviously didnt do it properly! So I think thats my list of car tasks nearly all completed. So I can just drive it now
