Need Help Please

Hi all I have a 2003 grand voyager 3.3v6 auto, and I have a problem that no garage seems to be able to diagnose when I brake going left round a corner at 10mph+ I get A grinding noise, now it's not the pads,disks. I can feel the grinding only though the brake pedal.

Any ideas

have you checked the rear shoes inside the rear disks for handbrake

jack up each wheel and give it a good shaking and turning

Nope not that thanks anyway any other ideas?

try copper slip everything on brakes that metal to metal  

NOT ON BRAKE DISKS OR PAD FRONTS THAT TOUCH THE DISK

Tried it no luck I gave in and took it to a garage who said steering rack I'm not convinced so any imput from anyone would be good.

Have the discs a rim of rust?
