2008 2.8 grand voyager. I was driving the other day and after accellerating there was a weird smell, carried on for another 5 miles no issues. Started the next day, ran for10 seconds then cut out...ignition off then back on, no glow plug light and no crank. Turns out the pcm fuse has blown.
Any one had a similar issue and a solution? Or have wiring diagram for the pcm fuse? My autodata wont show for my year
I traced some wires, found an exposed wire and put tape on it, new fuse in, turned on then alternator started smoking and the positive feed had melted off so now i need a new alternator but want to get to the root of the issue before i connect the new one and the same thing happen again.
