Electric Folding Mirrors And Air Con Pump Cutting In On Its Own

A couple of other niggling things to sort out

The folding mirrors don't always work and air con pump cuts in on its own ( have to pull the fuse in winter )

Air con works fine when switched on it when I switch off the pump cuts in on and off

hope somebody can shed some light on the problem , I have changed relay but still the same

Like you - I have a similar situation with the folding mirrors - one or both will extend too far and then you have to lean forwards and out of the window to pull them back in - it must be an ageing fault - or simply that the lugg that stops it in the right place has sheered off. When these cars work they're brilliant but I think we're beginning to realise why Chrysler retreated from the UK - the voyager range seem to have a 15 year maximum shelf life thereafter drop it as soon as soon as you can to some poor unsuspecting soul.

Aircon pumps cutting in even from cold even though the Aircon is off isn't a fault, it's what some system do. I don't know why and can't be asked to find out, but when you least expect it, the compressor cutting in/spinning up is OK, it certainly happened all the time on my Explorer, which I had for 10 years with excellent Aircon that never had to be topped up.
