poopydog
Brake light switch failing causing stop start/ hill hold warning lights to come on also flickering brake lights a bit annoying for those behind.Thought Id try a Fiat dealer even though replacement switch is only around £15.They appear not to want to touch it, unable to re set diagnostics as Chrysler sometimes have different fault codes!!!!!Fiat now fully own Chrysler. Have Fiat not received all technical data from Chrysler or at least have access to it?I was told to go to Jeep...why please?
0 Nello
You can ask a Fiat dealer to get hold of Lancia Parts for you but they will not do any service work. Best to get an Indy to look at it - try Paul Gilbert in Birmingham if you are in Staffs - right next to the Bullring - he looks after my Delta. http://www.motor-mech.co.uk/index.asp Edited July 21, 2020 by Nello
0 Andrewgrale
Same thing happened with my wife's Delta, I just replaced the switch and turned the ignition key on and off 11 times and that cleared the fault!!!You don't need access to the dealer, always. Better to find a decent independent or a former Chrysler dealer, I bought her car in Stafford from Arnold Clark trade sales
0 Andrewgrale
It would be worthwhile to get multiecuscan software and a cable set, it gives you access to a lot of useful systems in the FCA group cars and vans
