stuartmunn
I've noticed that my delta gives off a smell of petrol when starting from warm... It drives Ok and I cant see a fuel leak. I guess it must be a cut off valve or something .. has anyone else experienced this?

0 MikeyRules
Stuart did you say you needed the book pack for your car? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CHRYSLER-DELTA-HANDBOOK-PACK-OWNERS-MANUAL-WALLET-2010-2015-/131422793455?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e9968aeef
0 Rossocorsa
Occasionally I get a slight whiff of diesel, probably just the way the wind is blowing? I recall years ago having a dedra turbo and particularly when the sunroof was cracked open if I booted it it absolutely stank of petrol. Fiat even had it back in under warranty but didn't fix it, years later there was a big recall due to dedras sucking in exhaust fumes
0 MikeyRules
I'm laughing at the fact that Fiat couldn't find the fault.... It's almost second nature as most of the UK network is less than useless! In the Alfa world good dealerships are almost non existent and even the specialists are questionable! I now have to travel from South Manchester to the High Peak in Derbyshire to Peak Alfa which is a right PITA, but at least I know Roger is 100% and worth the travel. 0 Rossocorsa
To be fair it was in the old days when they had more independent dealers and I think they did their best with the info they were provided. I largely cured the issue when I had a stainless exhaust fitted by pd gough ( at massive expense I had more money than sense in those days ....which is maybe why I had the dedra!) and I asked them to extend the tailpipe lower and a bit further backwards than the standard one Edited March 3, 2015 by Rossocorsa
0 Rossocorsa
I should add that these days unfortunately I have lots of sense but no money!
0 MikeyRules
Haha small world! I had John from Gough's make me a equally distant stainless steel manifold for my vx220 turbo back in 2003! I have to say it was a work of art an the welding was something else! It sounded sublime too!
