I realised after 15 minutes I hadn't disconnected the negative terminal but by this point I hadn't touched any electricals.
Now after the replacement I cannot even get the car to crank, it just clicks. Battery is reading 11.8v.
Could i have shorted the battery? Done something to the immobiliser?
I have pre ordered a battery from Euro Car Parts anyway as they were half price and my battery is from 2017 but I just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing something stupid before I go and replace the batt.
