Im hoping someone can help me with a problem that seems to have developed on my 2004 2.5CRD Anniversary Edition Voyager.
The front drivers side indicator developed an intermittent fault but all other lights were fine, so I thought it was maybe a faulty bulb and decided to check it at the weekend. The next day the headlight and sidelight on the drivers side stopped working as well but the passenger side was fine. When the headlights were off and the indicator was turned on the sidelight bulb flashed instead of the indicator.
When I looked to remove the headlamp unit the main 8 pin power connector appeared to be damaged with the clip broken so I don't know if this is causing the problem???
I swopped the headlight units over and tried the drivers side on the passenger side and all the lights functioned correctly when on the passenger side but the passenger unit did not work when plugged into the drivers side which made me eliminate any problems in the headlamp unit and made me think it was an issue with either the main 8 pin connector or the wiring on the drivers side.
Could the 8 pin connector be the problem or could it be a problem with a bad earth???? or something completely different????
