cooltrain99
Anyone worked out the best way to access the rear spark plugs on a v6 engine?!
0 bignev
Hi there, check if your wiper scuttle comes off, it does on the 2001 to 2007, much easier to get at those rear plugs, doesn't take too long to remove so it absolutely is an advantage. 0 cooltrain99
Hi, thanks for the info, that's what I'd found out researching on Youtube so will give it a go! Cheers!
0 cooltrain99
Yep, had to remove the wiper scuttle and associated bits, also the alternator and its bracket, even then its a real struggle to get to the rear plugs and leads! Basically a pig of a job, you need a decent tool kit and a lot of time and patience, and small hands is a definite advantage! Job done in the end though. 0 bignev
Nice one mate! They must have revised some of the layout on mine as it wasn't TOO bad with the extra access! Certainly didn't have to faff the the alternator.
