piggy1
hi every one , my voyager has been struggling to start for about a year now. computer diagnosis failed to show any error codes. I have replaced the battery, i'm told the alternator is fine and so at the moment ,I don't know what to think. the battery is five weeks old, and yet has run flat twice in the last week and yet i'm assured by the rescue service that both the battery and alternator are excellent! any ideas please? Cheerful1
I'd put money on it being a fault in the stereo amplifier unit, located inside the right rear quarter panel. I had this occasional battery drain problem for about two years until I found a very competent auto electrician who diagnosed it for me. Various other things run through this unit too, like the alarm circuit, for instance. Unfortunately, these units are quite expensive, about £350, and only seem to be available from Chrysler dealers. Maybe a scrapyard can help.
