Over Heat At 70Mph

Hi To all just got a new problem when I get to 70mph the temperature gauge goes up to 3 quarters put as soon as I come down to 60 it goes back to halfway quickiy water pump is ok no loss of water fan is working as it should no rubbish in front of rad the only thing I can think of is a blocked rad what do you think on this or am I missing something it's on a 2.8 crd 2007 thanks. Hi It Was a blocked rad some of the veins were totally blocked at the botton of the rad thanks to all for there support. Jeff

To confirm a blocked radiator, get the temp up and try to press the top radiator hose. If it's quite solid, I'd lean towards a blockage. 
The other way would be up to temperature, then jamb the fan so it can't come on without warning. Put fingers through to feel top and bottom of radiator. 

 If cold at the bottom and hot at the top, blocked radiator.

Hi soupstone thanks for your support I will be puting a new rad in I think it's generally blocked had a look at andy browns video so shouln't be to hard to change. Jeff
