Voyager Indicator Problem

Hi All,

 

My vehicle a Plymouth Voyager base model registered 1999, has a strange problem, the indicators have stopped working, the hazards work fine, and if you turn off the hazards the indicators work for about 20 seconds.

I have not used the Plymouth for 4 years, replaced the battery, and need to get a MOT, any help or suggestions will be gratefully accepted, I am at my wits end.

You've not by any chance changed a rear lamp have you..

The indicator flasher unit (and I don't actually know if yours has got one) would be the culprit on many older vehicles, cars and bikes.

 

It is related to load through it, which is (only possibly!) why all 4 lamps make it work then it gives up again on indicators.

 

My old bikes would light up but not flash when it gave up.

Many thanks for all your help, it turned out to be that the flasher relay need pushing in further wonderful a cheap repair at last
