Standard Cd Player Mp3 Aux Connection

hi i have a 2008 sebring uk model

with a single cd head unit, i have tried to plug in several mp3 players through the auxiliary port but none seem to work also i have burnt a dvd with mp3s but it wont read teh disc 

is it due to being an american cd player or should all mp3 players work with it

What head unit do you have is it a mygig uconnect unit and if it is what are the 3 letters under the aux port, also try a original cd and I know it sounds silly but you could try another wire if none of them work it might need a software update or it has other issues, you can also remove the unit from the car and then remove the hard drive if you have one for about a hour and then replace the unit. Hope this helps

i dont think mine is a mygig  its just the single cd double din player

ill have another play with it  but think ill get touch screen sat nav cd player
