2008 Voyager How Can I Add Phone Kit To Radio Plus Mygig Lockpic V5

Hi Im new and my first post so please be gentle if its been covered before lol.

 

Could not see a link for 5th generation Voyagers. Mine is 2008 CRD with MyGig radio system but with no phone kit. I have seen the cars with factory phone kits have steering wheel buttons. Mine only has radio volume etc. Is there a dealer add on module I can buy that makes the "phone" button on the MyGig radio unit work please, and allow me to use my iphone? If so what is it called and does anyone have the part numbers needed? What's involved in installing it?

 

Any links to good suppliers for Voyager toys?

 

I have been looking at the Lockpic V5 box from the USA that allows the TV to be watched by the front passenger whilst driving. Plus it adds other functions like extra cameras. Is there someone in the UK that sells this Lockpic V5 box and loom or is there other options that I am unaware of? I have only just bought this car so unsure of what's the best road to take. 

 

Would appreciate any info.

The company 'Parrot' used to do an add in module - i.e. you manually turn dow radio and then can use it as a hands free device.

Thanks for the response folks and to add to Penguins comment, I am IAM and ROSPA Gold so understand distractions with the phone. 

I had not bought the car when I placed my question. Looking at other Voyagers I noticed the steering wheels had phone buttons on. Im glad to say my car has the phone kit fitted already so no need for any modules or extra kit.

 

I am however still struggling to find a definitive answer to the question. Will a REW My Gig radio work with the NAV-TV NTV-KIT260CT Navigation and Video Unlock Interface. This is similar to the Lockpic box that allows the front TV to work when in drive. In the Ebay listing the REW model number MyGig is listed but everyone seems to think it won't work in my car as its european (UK) not USA. What is the difference and why wont it work?

Does anybody know?

Oem add on wil cost you hindreds of dollars, better fit a complete aftermarket infotainment screen ( kenwood) foor 500 dollars
