Dome Light And Fuse Message In Odometer

My dome light is not working either from the doors being opened or from the multi function switch and I'm seeing the word fuse intermittently in the odometer when starting the car.
I have observed the following, trunk light is working, radio is holding it's presets, glove box light is working, map reading lights are working and vanity mirror lights are working, when opening all four doors it shows door open in the dash, I've changed the dome light bulb (even though the bulb looked OK)
So now I need some guidance as to what I should check next to try and pin point where the problem is. http://forums.neons.org/images/smilies/dunno.gif

Fuse 13 is ok - Radio is holding it's presets and boot light is working as well, all four door switches are working normally, I suspect it's a circuit problem.
