Power Steering Problem

hello everyone,

 

I have asked this on the newbie forum, but thought I would try here as well - my 1997 2.0 Voyager has had a new steering rack fitted, but keeps blowing the pipe joins at the actuator, at the bulkhead with the sharp bends - is the system over pressurising or should we be more manly when tightening the connections? Any ideas about what pressure the system operates at?

 

Any suggestions/advice welcome as I would like to keep the old girl going for a while, (and the Voyager),

I would try to tighten it bit more as sometimes they need to be tight as there is a lot of pressure in the pipes.

thanks for replying - do you have any idea what pressure the system works at? Or torque settings for the joints?
