Well ( aside from many other problems with my tank) after a dry spell my car has decided to once again limp around in 3rd and this time it isn't going away ;( The transmission solenoid is to blame so I have ordered the part from the states. It has taken me a while to find a garage willing to do the job but now I am good to go.
My question is what else would you get changed at the same time i.e do you think it is worth replacing timing belt/water pump( due in another 12k miles) or anything else while at it? I assume that this will be accessible when they replace the transmission solenoid? Thanks in advance for any comments! If I can get the car to work properly again I might try and fix all the other problems!!
