ambuman999
I have a Grand Voyager 2.8 that has had a replacement Transmission Control Module fitted. A reader now says that there is a signal from the Control Module. I have been driving it for 3 weeks now and I think it's now going through a re-learn procedure as it has started going up through the gears smoothly, but doesn't come back down through the gears, I have to use kickdown. If I stop in 3rd or 4th gear I have to put it into neutral and rev it, then as the revs drop it will go into either the lower gear or reverse. Is this normal when re-learning that it takes a long time to go down through the box, and is there a procedure to help it learn quicker? I have contacted a main dealer to do a quick learn but they quoted 1.5 hours @£110 per hour + VAT = £198. I'd be grateful for any help. Thank you.
