0 mikebh8
I didn't have time to take mine apart to post a picture but it should have a wire there with an electronic component, I can't say if it is resistor or not.If you search it online you could see it. Hope it helps. frogland
0 QinteQ
Its missing a replaceable resistor get a UK one to be safe or just put a 20p resistor in. Best of luck. frogland
0 frogland
ok i've ordered some some of these to do the button mod ,can i use the same one in the MAF sensor ?Im curious to know what happened to the original resistor ? i didn't find it in the turbo or the air inlet. 0 QinteQ
The buttonMOD needs 1/2 or even 1W simple carbon film type resistor @ 33. What the MAF needs I've no idea what should be in it, doesn't it come populated - anyone here know the value ?
0 frogland
for the button mod -33k ohms ??
0 QinteQ
The buttonMOD needs 1/2 or even 1W simple carbon film type resistor @ 33 your pic shows 1/4 W not 1/2 or 1 watt my friend.
0 frogland
ok QinteQ im going to order some 1w resistors i just wanted to sure it was 33000 ohms that was needed and not 33 ohms or 330 ohms.
0 QinteQ
My fault the proper way to express it is 33K [33,000] Ohm Metal Film Resistor @ 0.5W. NOTE : Not the 1/4W in your thumb. frogland
