I have a couple of minor niggles with the car i would liek to get sorted. I have a rattle from the passenger side sliding dor which i believe might get fixed with insulation tape around the catch?
I have a draft around the drivers side sliding door - not sure how to go about fixing that.
I have a knock from the front drivers whell like the antiroll bar is broken but that has been replaced.
The post is actually about the whistle from the turbo. For the first few journeys the car makes in the morning it whistles quite loud between 2 and 2,500 revs. This is very audible in second and 3rd gear but if the car is used a lot during the day the noise completley dssapears.
Is this a sign the turbo is on its way out? if so can i get it refurbished or do i have to replace it?
