Hi Dorian, welcome to the club! :) Your Delta looks great in black!!

You are very lucky to get the 1750tbi engine in a Delta! It's only available here in the UK in Alfa Romeo. I had a 159ti Sportwagon with the same engine and it was fabulous giving near V6 power!

In answer to your question I'm not sure if any of the members here have active suspension? Maybe that was a mainland Europe option only too?

Witch 1.8 turbo wos in stock. On automatic transmision (only with this engine, no manual!) You have button "sport" that give you faster change of gear, harder susp. In my first car (fiat bravo) i hade A stock susp. + eibach 30/40 and this car wos perfect for stering 4 me. Now in lancia i dont trust this car in fast corners... Do decision is simple- Life is to short to have Active susp. CHANGE! :-)

thx but i must replace active absorbers and fit stock absorbers+ eibach. With active absorber you have device whitch control 4 absorbers. Its not that simple to just replace. You must find a clue how to erase a error of active suspension from daschbord :D My head is full of ideas but only one can be god. Switch off absrober device than make a proxi and problem should be gone. But i dont know that 4 surre :D So wish me luck :)

I have no experience of them but it was said that the delta handles and rides much better on the active dampers, this could be a retrograde step unless the current dampers are faulty.

do you drive delta on active susp? with 250 hp in fast corners? Do you drive delta on stock susp? Do you drive delta on stock susp + eibach 30/40 lowered?

3 sensors is using: 2 front L/R and rear only 1 but the ECU is the brain of this all so lets see what i can do again :D

Hi Dorian and welcome to the club.

I fitted ebach sports springs as a quick fix for a damaged spring coil. It only lowered the car 30 mm, but obviously did not combine that with changing the suspension.

The lowered ride is a little bit more stable in fast corners, but can be a drawback in speed humps and snow especially if you need to fit snow chains...

Keep us updated with your project...

I have the RSS system, and it's not ideal. I fitted Eibach springs to the RSS dampers, that was a big improvement. If you disconnect the RSS dampers you get error messages, as you know. I had to change back to the original springs for MOT, and it's a huge difference. My car is only used for a few km in the summertime so I don't have experience over many km, but it worked great for 1 season at least.

Could you please tell us what you have done? I'm looking into the same, as I feel my Delta dives too much under braking.

I've been thinking that the sensors in the electronic dampers have a specified resistance (Ohm), maybe it's possible to trick the system by giving them a certain resistance by soldering in a resistor?

Eibach is making Pro-Tronic, they trick the car so you don't get an error message when the electronic shock absorbers are replaced with ordinary shocks. They make them for Alfa MiTo, which I believe use Marelli suspension. But Eibach don't list them for Lancia Delta, and can't guarantee that they will work. Anyone familiar with the MiTo suspension?
