Yeah I know Herts well as I used to work in Hatfield and commute from Cheshire lol. Veloces are good guys to be fair, but mainly a sales enterprise with a service bay for car prep... Autolusso are your best bet. They're well regarded in the Alfa community and know their stuff. I'd give them a call or drop in rather than email. They're usually a busy service and parts centre so you'll get a better response talking to them. As for Glyn Hopkins...I'd rather cut my head off and sh*t down the hole than give them any money!!!

Have had the cluster checked by autotronics and contrary to glyn Hopkins who said it was the cluster that was no good and wanted almost 10000 pounds to fix, it seems that there is a problem with the car not earthing correctly .

Has any one got a wiring diagram for 2.0 l diesel?especially behind dash and radio ?

I'd start with the simple things 1st and check the battery connection, then the earth lead, where it's bolted onto the chassis

There are several earth points around both chassis legs

Re: QUBO AIRBAG FAULT PLEASE SEE HANDBOOK plus Several Error codes

:

Tonight I checked the wiring from the instrument cluster and managed to clear the fault. It was in the wiring on the fuse line for the cluster giving a low voltage and throwing up the fault. All clear now :-) parts used 20cm of wire soldered in place and heat shrink to cover. Clear faults, proxi alinment not needed! All great. No thanks to Fiat dealer who left me high and dry !

Does that deserve a 'whoop whoop'! :P

Glad you've got it sorted in the end fella! Does that mean you're gonna keep the car now then?

What would you do Mikey ? Guess the old girl has got a few more trips in her ! Spent ages sourcing this model . Might even treat her to a valet ?

Yeah I think you're doing the right thing... They are good cars, pretty cheap to run and full of old fiat parts lol, so what's not to like!? :)

You've probably seen me on here harping on about wanting something else (I have an Alfa habit), but the Delta ticks so many boxes, and it's hard to justify to 'her indoors' that I want something else because I'm a car slag!
