bignev Posted January 6, 2018 Report Share Posted January 6, 2018 (edited) Oh bugger!The red light is the immobiliser circuit, I guess you have tried leaving the key in the ignition position for 20 to 30 seconds for it to recognise it? Do you have a spare key to try? Also try the proverbial "switching it off and on again" attempt, battery negative lead off for 20 minutes or more, rather than just the fuse out, then see if it accepts the transponder in the key this time? You may need the radio code after this. Oh and try posting this on the technical help section, most likely get the diesel drivers input too when it's spotted!
