Kennybaker
Hello to all. I'm a complete newbie to forums so please bare with me. I have a voyager 2003 model. It's has an intermittent fault with the airbag and abs light both coming on together but intermittently. Seems to happen more as the steering wheel is turned. Any ideas as to what causing would be greatly received. The horn works as I tried when lights came on. Thanks Edited September 29, 2017 by Kennybaker
mikebh8
Hi, inside the steering wheel column there is a part called "clock spring"...why it is called that way no idea. That spring is a set of wires( I've seen with 4, 6 and even with 10 when the radio control buttons and/or cruise control are mounted on the steering wheel). Anyhow, while radio or horn is working does not mean that one of the wires is not interrupted nor that it is.I will however investigate that first thing. Hope it helps. Kennybaker
A couple of people have suggested this. I have seen previous said that I would lose also the horn and cruise control. I think the problem is definitely around this 'clock' though like you say. I'll give it closer inspection and aim my energies around this and let tou know how get on. Many thanks for your help
