Rear Seatbelt Replacement Help!

Question

We tried our dog in the boot of the car and he managed to chew through both the rear passenger and driver side belts. Have enquired at main dealership who quoted £450.

Has anyone else had to replace a rear seatbelt? Is it a difficult job? There's so many different choices too, unsure which part to get as a whole unit is required rather than a belt replacement...

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It's possible that the 08 on Fiat Bravo belt may fit

Dogs should always be in cages in the boot of a car, have you seen the after crash test result of an unsecured weight being in the boot? The car tested had a 60/40 split rear seat and the "dog" weight came clean out between the two seats "killing" a back seat passenger and giving the front seat passenger serious spinal injuries!

Thanks for the replies. Diagram is great help!

Having difficulty sifting through google to find reliable fitting parts.

What is eper?

Re: dog in boot- obviously a guard was/ is in place and the dog is a standard daschund, basically a long terrier no heavier than a bag of shopping!! The whole point of putting him in the boot was to improve safety while driving ;)

eper is the Fiat Group Parts system. Is supposed to be a dealer only tool but there are copies around/available. You can get all part numbers and those diagrams from there for all FCA products....

For the record these are the Lancia Part numbers although Chrysler ones will differ even though its the same item -

735554080 SAFETY BELT RH (1 on the diagram)
735554081 SAFETY BELT LH (2 on the diagram)
735526976 SAFETY BELT CENTR (3 on the diagram)
