Heating/a/c Going Off Auto Setting

Question

Hi

The last couple of days my Grand Voyager 2003 has started turning from auto for heating/ventilation. Still works, still get A/C or heat, but not on the auto setting.

If I put it back to auto, after a few minutes, or sometimes almost immediately, goes off auto.

I haven't tried it on auto, low, only auto, hi

Any ideas?

Thanks

No, even though it is sometimes called that way, that's the exterior temperature sensor.

I never done one on Grand voyagers, however on some models it is built in the heating resistor circuit board, or above the head inside the car.

If you have access to a fan blower resistor for testing purposes , I'd try that.

Hope it helps.
