Singers
Hi AllI am in Singapore and I need to get my hands on engine and transmission mounts for a 2007 300c V6 3.5 rwd sedan. It's s right hand drive market. I want to buy from the US. Is The driving side of the car an issue for mounts? One merchant in the US was suggesting so. Thanks folks.Singers
mikebh8
It does not matter what side the steering wheel is, I'm from east Europe and currently living in UK... the engine bay looks the same on both models.Actually, the car manufacturers are building the cars for left hand driving and after they adapt them for countries like UK, Australia or others. Moreover, many of my co nationals are buying cars from here and replace the dashboard so they can easily drive them in Europe. The difference are the headlights, the wipers (on some models), pedals and the outside rear view mirrors where the passenger one does not have a dead spot view option ( again only on some models), and in some cases the gear shift mechanism from the left side of the gearbox to the right side.I never heard, and I witnessed few models on different manufacturers, the engine mounts to be replaced. However, an easy way is to take a clear picture of yours and match it with one found it online or your local shop. Hope it helps.
