Hello , I wonder has anybody got this same problem. The centre track paint finish has been destroyed at the bottom of the tracks by the centre roller of the doors. The doors close fine(manual) and are correctly aligned,no uneven panel gaps, although when collecting the vehicle on purchase I was surprised at the noise made as the doors shut, are the centre rollers load bearing as such or simply guides? I can see that adjustment is possible. I am toying with the idea of inserting a form of channel (ally or UPVC) to eliminate the tatty appearance, especially after rainfall or washing when unsightly rust coloured trails run down the panelwork albeit mainly in the door shuts. A lad I worked with in another life and who now has his own Garage business (he's my tame MOT Tester) says they're all like that, but I've not seen too many. Suggestions/comments welcome!
