Side Indicator Dead

Left side indicator is dead, changed bulb with no result and there is no voltage at socket when blinking, any idea where to look?

Update: metered the wires and got zero voltage.

The blinking pace is regular even though a bulb is missing.

 

I'm thinking the BCM might be my problem since i also get codes on the central locking and sometimes it doesnt work until i pull the BCM fuse to reset it.

 

If anyone got ideas i'm very thankful as I need to pass MOT

And sometimes it doesnt light up the warning lamps before startup, when this happens the speedo and tachometer goes to max and back to zero.

Engine still starts fine.

When you say metered the wires, have you removed the bulb holder and had the meter directly on the wires at a plug coupler? If not, i'd be looking at the bulb holder, or trace it back to a plug connection and try there. 
Think the wiring is behind the wheel arch liner, you could take that off and hand trace the wiring. It must go through the bodywork at some point to connect to the main wiring, this could be a point where you might find a break in the wire. I installed a towbar recently and I'm sure I seen the wiring for it when I had the liner off. 

The sweeping dials are normally a sign that the battery is a bit low. I get it occasionally if the cars been sat for a couple of days or it's been used for a lot of short runs.

I disconnected at the second plug inside the fender and measured there with no luck, the wires go in to the loom just below this.

If I cannot pinpoint it I will try to draw power from the front blinker just to pass mot
