Back Seat Support In Down Position

Hi guys, unfortunately the back seat is stuck in the down position, the 2 seater. I can feel a difference when pushing the lever down on the 2 seater vs the 1 seater.

 

Any idea what I can check to see if I can release it? Seems like it's all internal the mechanism. There is a cable that runs from one end to the other but that's about it.

Try pushing the lever in with one hand whilst trying to move the seat with the other at the same time?

I will try, otherwise do you mean hold the other lever down to move the seat to?

Unfortunately it did not move with and without moving the seat with the 2nd lever.

 

Any other ideas? I can hear that it's trying to pull the mechanism when I push down on the lever, slight noise to the middle of the seats where I reckon the lock is.

This sounds very annoying. Of I can all the kids car seats out I will see what the mechanism is doing and report back.

 

Have you tried sliding the seats back amd forth to see if it will help the mechanism along or do you have a limited?
