Intrument Panel Needles Bouncing Also Clocks Not Illuminating

Bought my first chrysler voyager yesterday clocks ok till you put lights on then speedo,rev counter,fuel guage and temperature guage needles start bouncing and none of the clocks are illuminated can anyone advise please are am i better fitting new clocks

Check your battery. These things eat batteries and any drop in voltage & the needles start to bounce & dash lights don't come on.

New battery from a motor factors is about £45.

Yep battery first, especially in this cold weather

Just to add to this, if this is happening whilst driving you might want to get the alternator checked, as if it's not supplying what it should for recharge then you'll quickly destroy the new battery.
