Had Halfords fit a Sony but got no sound from it had to have it removed. Any ideas anyone
0 T14086
Hi and welcome Do you know if your vehicle has an separate amplifier fitted? (fitted probably in the rear, right side?) no offence to halfords but I would take the vehicle to an auto electrician/audio specialists in this instance. (is the radio faulty or you just want it changed?)
0 thedaytyler
Hi there the original radio communicates with the ECU via the bus and when you turn the radio on it sends a signal to turn on a relay which powers the radio, you either take a separate feed to the new radio or short the relay
