Rubbish Heater

Hi. The heater in my 2.5 crd isn't very hot. I'm used to it taking forever (delay is displayed) to actually do anything, but recently it's started to give luke warm/cool air no matter how high I set it. Any ideas? I'm hoping it's not the air con compressor clutch stuck on again.

How's the temperature gauge sitting? 
I've had 2 now that sat about 1/4 even when driving for a while. 
The original thermostat was seized open, but fitting a second thermostat in the top radiator hose solved the problem.
