High Pitched Tone

Hi all, a week in and I've had more issues than I did on my last car in 8 years. I'm perseververing tho.

 

When I lock the car there is a high pitched tone coming from somewhere, very difficult to locate. I have had issues with battery drainage and this is the first time I've noticed this tone. It stops when I open the back doors.I have no interior lights on or anything really obvious that I can see.

 

Any help for this really needy newbie would be greatly appreciated.

Is it from engine compartment after shutting down. Lift bonnet after shutting and check.

Yes it is, any ideas?

Check Vacuum Solenoid on nearside at front of engine that operates the EGR. Has 3 small vac pipes fitted. If it is from there is obviously sticking.
