steviec2000
Hi, have come to my 2005 Grand Voyager 3.3l this morning and I have no acceleration?? The accelerator pedal feels very spongy and the pedal feels higher than normal, if I press it there is no throttle response. The car creeps forward or back or if I put in gear, but without throttle I'll not get far. Does anyone have any ideas? Sorry no error codes? 0 Semmysonic
Have you checked the throttle cable?
0 macuniyanukukuk
Could be the cable. Lift the bonnet and there should be 2 cables that move the accelerator mechanism on the throttle body. If you can rev the engine by hand under the bonnet then it's the cables. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
0 steviec2000
Thanks. I've just to come to look at it now and the throttle is back.?! Could it be the cold weather this morning?
0 Semmysonic
That's a strange one, can't imagine the cold would affect it that much. I'd definitely give it a good check over because you just know it will let you down when you most need it
