Rufty10
Hello I am new to the forum. I wondered if anyone else has trouble with cleaning around the rear lights of their Delta? The outside edges of mine are full of green mould and even a pressure washer cant get it out. One side is worse than the other. (And no, I don't park my beautiful car under a tree!!!)I don't think the lights are seated properly otherwise the water (&mould) wouldn't get in. Or there should be more room to clean in there? I'd be interested to know about other cars?
italoafro
Hi there...I am also new to the forum and have the same problem. I am a bit of a compulsive obsessive with having my car spotlessly clean so this does bother me.I am going to try and remove the lenses and clean them this weekend. Rufty10
I'd be very interested to see how you get on! I had a dealer try to tell me it was my own fault for parking under a tree - which I don't.

italoafro
Ok job done!...but its one of those that "if it ain't broke don't try to fix"...however this has given me some satisfaction as the light which illuminates the boot was not working. Was not the bulb...the wiring was never connected at the factory!...all sorted. I have attached some pics about the dirty lens "before and after". You will need the correct size allen key to loosen the black plastic nuts unless you open your beer bottles with your eyelids. Give it a try
italoafro
I forgot to mention, it is difficult to clean between the lens and the casing. Seems to be one whole unit. I did not try to separate these. I suggest using a cocktail stick and ear bud.
