0 gordy
EGR gas supply is from the exhaust outputs of the 4 cylinders. Through supply via EGR then goes into the intake manifold where it is mixed. So for any ports/holes into the cylinder head for a special EGR valve there would need to be 4 x 2.....Kinda silly eh... 0 bignev
i would try cleaning the egr valve and passage ways first. I presume it is driving differently, down on power or in limp mode? On some older cars blanking off the egr can improve power, but not legally for emissions. Newer ones would probably need reprogramming. If the valve is sooted and sticking it could be giving the ECU a headache. After that amount of time and miles the problem is absolutely NOT related to drillings that are missing. 0 QinteQ
Looks like a 'blanking plate' to me - enjoy the extra performance and miles per gallon !
