stuartmunn
Anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for the Delta? I want to find out of the aerial is powered as since I changed out the standard ICE system for a Sony one the radio reception is awful. Cheers Stuart
0 MikeyRules
Stuart I had the same problem when I swapped out the original head unit for the Navplus! Yes you need a powered aerial amplifier.... I found loads on eBay, and bought one for about a tenner as the cheaper ones looked a bit rubbish. I wired it into the back of the fag lighter for power.... stuartmunn

I've suffered the poor radio reception for ages, but I mostly listen to my iPod so its never been high on my "items to fix list" But my wife is using the car more so she mostly listens to the Radio ... so the priority has been upped! 0 MikeyRules
Ooh I forgot to mention something.... The only problem or side effect of the aerial booster is if you turn you ignition off with turning the radio off first, you get the radio continuing for a few seconds followed by a hiss before power is cut to the booster. It could be my Navplus causing it, but think its more to do with power to the lighter socket still being live for a few seconds longer if that makes any sense at all lol???? Yep exactly that... it powers down after a few sec's and is just slightly annoying but not a show stopper! My radio reception was absolutely awful before the booster, so it was well worth the money!
