Ray
Hi There People , my name is Ray .. I have a Chrysler Grand Voyager , 2008 . My problem is this : The Brake lights do not work properly when my headlights are turned on . What happens is , the Brake Lights stay on and there are no tail lights .. When the Head Lights are turned off , the Brake Lights do work and I noticed that as I apply my foot onto the Brake Pedal , what looks like front parker lights come on as well .. Taking my foot off the Brake Pedal , the front parker lights go out as well .. Now , my dog chewed through a bunch of wires underneath the driver's seat . I paid my mate , who is not an auto-electrician by the way , to solder the wires properly together again and black tape around the whole repair . We thought that this would have fixed the Brake Lights problem but no such Luck . I have a Driver's manual but it is no Good to me as it is written in Japanese which I cannot read .. Can anyone enlighten me on a solution or idea please ? Thanks People .. My last resort would be to take it to an auto-electrician ..
mrleeds6
Hi Ray, Did you find a solution to your problem? I have the same problem on a grand voyager 03. All went after i had used fog lights. Thanks Phil
mrleeds6
Found the problem. Had put wrong brake light bulb in previously. The bulb i put in had a single contact on bottom in middle. The bulb should have had 2 contacts on the bottom.
