0 ben
Hi 7up, The Grand Voyager has a PCD of 5x114 and Offset of 35. The 300c on the other hand has PCD of 5x114.3 (Although this is sometimes argued as 5x115) and an Offset of 20. I'm not an alloy expert, but I think I read before a PCD .3 difference is ok - however the large offset difference isn't going to work. a1ant
0 forster81
I have seen a few 52 03 platest running on 300c alloys. However I have heard spacers are required. Another option that was mentioned to me was mazda rx8 alloys, which is something I'm looking into.
0 robbie2red
Hi all, I'm a newbie! Just got a voyager last week! I've already bought some Chrysler 300c alloys to put on my 2006 voyager. They're the 18" alloys I bought, I've put 235/50/18 tyres on them. I've been trolling the forum but can't find a real answer. Do I need to use spacers? They seem to fit ok, but there's a rubbing/clicking from the wheels at the front. I read somewhere somebody had used 5mm spacers for the front as the calipers were rubbing, however I can't find that chat now. Can somebody please help? Thanks, Rob Edited July 7, 2016 by robbie2red
0 robbie2red
Oh I seem to have sorted the rubbing noise, the 300c alloy was too close to the calipers on the front. A 5mm spacer bought for £7 from eBay has done the job! Very happy with my new wheels! Cheers, Rob
0 bignev
Good one pal - a whole lot safer hee hee!And now we all have the info too, thank you!
0 robbie2red
Cheers Nev! I'll try and get some pics up with them on next week, I'm away from my baby at the moment but will put some up next week. For your info too, when I changed to the 300c alloys the tyre guy recommended I got new wheel nuts with a flat seat. So that's what I got, and they seem to have good purchase in the alloy recess. I'm no engineer as you guys probably guessed but thought I'd share. The thread is M12 x 1.5. Cheers, Rob
0 robbie2red
Hi all, I couldn't see how to edit my post above about the alloy nuts! I said the tyre people told me to get the flat seat! That was WRONG it's the tapered that are correct. If you use the flat seat they don't get enough purchase on the bolt and therefore are unsafe! Always pays to go to a good reputable tyre garage! The guys I asked first of all were cowboys. They won't be getting my custom again! Keep to the trusted and tested garage, luckily it didn't cause an accident, but could have! 0 mikebh8
Hi, I had 300c wheels on my 2004 Grand Voyager. The spacers are a must for the rubbing noise and/or damage. bear in mind the set comes as two wider than the others, I can't remember which ones go in the front or which ones go in the back but I remember one of them was still touching when turned left or right ,and when I eventually removed them, I realised the two spacers of the front wheels were different size, same on the rear ones too. I think the thinner ones go on the front (someone else if knows more please step in).Hope it helps.
