Like A Mis-Fire But In A Diesel

Hi guys I'm new here and I'm sorry for my first post to be a query

 

Just driving home from the shops and the cab started slowly filling with smoke, when I I stopped it sounded like a mis-fire but it's a diesel. When I got home I removed the engine cover and it seems that the 3rd injector from the left has stared leaking! with the smoke coming from the hot engine.

 

Is this a common thing with the injectors on these?

Oh it's a 2007 2.8 crd

 

I do have the wonderful chaps in yellow on there way to cast there eye on it as the garage I would use is shut with it being Sunday

These cars suffer injector failure. If you replace one injector with a new one, pretty soon the imbalance of the pressure will cause the other 3 to fail soon. Brc will pay for injectors.
