chrisgreg
So thinking of getting a 2nd hand ypsilion as they seem a great little car.. I would go for the 1.3 diesel as its 95 bhp but would consider the twin air.. what are peoples thoughts on what is considered to be worrying mileage on either engine. 0 TurboJim
I would say it all depends on how well the car has been looked after and if there is a full service history. Twin air engines have been known to fail at fairly low mileage but I suspect this is where the correct oil has not been used and/or the services haven't been done on time. I would say if you're buying a twin air try and find one with less than 70k on the clock. I don't have any experience with the diesels but they would probably be good for at least 100k. If you're looking for more advice try the Fiat Forum as the engines are the same as found in the Panda and 500.
