Over the past couple of days I have had a couple of problems.
Firstly 2 days ago my airbag light came on and went off a couple of times while driving. On a journey later in the day it came and has stayed on since.
Secondly, while out last night my engine management light came on and the car went into limp home mode. I pulled over and switched off for about 10 minutes. When I re-started the light was still on but the car was driving normally.
When I got home I did the 'key dance' and the only codes showing were P0100 MAF Sensor Circuit Insufficient Activity which is understandable as the engine wasn't running and P1685 Invalid Key, which from what I have seen on these pages is quite common.
I pulled the IOD fuse over night with the hope that it would clear the faults. On checking this morning, both lights are still on and I am baffled as to why.
If anyone can throw any light on this it would be greatly appreciated.
